ALABAMA ENTERTAINERS SONG & DANCE TEAMS:
The Alabama Entertainers Performance Team are an elite group of talented young singers, dancers & actors who are being correctly trained in the arts & who love the stage! They perform for numerous venues including the women's shows, Six Flags, Universal Studios, Disney, as well as many other local, state, & national venues throughout the year. They perform high energy song and dance numbers while entertaining the masses.
Director Deanna Duke, follows in the footsteps of her mother, Mitch DuPont, who years before the Entertainers were created, was the director of groups at Gadsden State College called the “Vagabond Players” & “Gadsden State Showcase” in which Deanna was a performer. In 1998, Deanna decided to continue her mothers legacy and reinvented the group. By 2008, demand for the “Alabama Entertainers” had become so overwhelming that Deanna closed all her other studios & let the Entertainers become a business all on their own. The “Alabama Entertainers Talent Company” was born.
If you have never seen these teams perform, you must. They will sing with fabulous voices, they will dance & tumble with strength, grace, & agility, & they will make you laugh with their skits. These kids are well rounded talented artists who are passionate about their craft and about entertaining.
The “Alabama Entertainers” are true triple threat performers who will leave a lasting impression on anyone who sees their shows.
ALABAMA LEGENDS DANCE TEAMS:
The Legends have become just that over a period of years, Legends! The only Alabama team to ever win the approval of the National Dance Council, the Legends are multi national title winners! This team was the stepping stone for many of Alabama’s best dancers including Alyssa Duke, award winning choreographer and team captain of the USA International Dance Team. With dances in jazz, lyrical, clogging, tap, & character, the Legends are excellent crowd pleasers!
Our studio, then called StarPower, made news by winning Best Studio awards 4 years in a row at Access Broadway competitions, winning numerous Alabama State Dance Titles, & being included in the Alabama Dance Council Expo. Holding many National Choreography awards & titles, the Legends came, danced, & conquered.
Now they are back to once again rock the dance world!
ALABAMA ANGELS:
A Christian drama team of all ages that brings audiences to their knees while spreading the Gospel message to the masses.
ALABAMA THUNDER:
A clogging dance team of all ages that bring people to their feet while clapping along to these fast feet dancers!
ALABAMA ABSTRACT:
A Hip Hop Dance Team that wakes up the crowd and demonstrates this very popular style of dance.
